Alignment Development Services is entering its 15th year of working with great clients on substantial projects. Design and construction projects by their very nature are team-driven. I am fortunate to have collaborated with great clients, dedicated architects, engineers, contractors, artisans, and suppliers to achieve results that we can all be proud of.

 

Alignment is a luxury retail and workplace focused project management consultancy established to assist retailers through the development process starting with site evaluation and lease review and extending through design, documentation, construction and occupancy. Alignment functions as the planning, design & construction management departments for retailers and corporations needing to outsource these activities or to expand their current expertise.

 

Alignment is solution oriented and loves to be presented with a challenge. Through hard work and a dedication to responsiveness, Alignment adds value by efficiently, effectively, and fairly understanding and representing the owner's interests throughout the development process.

 

Since its inception in 2011 Alignment has managed more than 180 projects across the country and abroad for more than 50 unique brands. I am gratified that most of Alignment's work is for repeat clients who have become friends.

Alignment aims to be an extension of your own planning department - to think like you, to act in your interest, to follow your lead all the while guiding you through the design and construction process supporting owners to realize your goals and objectives.  Alignment functions as the real estate, design & construction management departments for retail and corporate clients needing to outsource these activities.

Prior to establishing Alignment I practiced architecture for more than 20 years in Philadelphia, Princeton, NJ, Sydney, Australia and New York City.  After working for a New York City real estate development company for 2 years I joined Louis Vuitton/LVMH where, as Director of Store Planning and Development between 2002 and 2007, I managed projects for Louis Vuitton and other LVMH fashion brands including; DeBeers, Celine, Emilio Pucci, Thomas Pink, Donna Karan and DKNY in locations as diverse as New York, Beverly Hills, Las Vegas, Miami, London, Tokyo, Dubai, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janiero, Buenos Aires and Hong Kong.  Then working for Apple, Inc. until 2011 I lead the development of Apple stores in the US north east and Canada.

Alignment takes its name from the practical applications and importance of alignment as an ordering principal in design and construction. It is also intended to communicate my goal of being in alignment with my client's needs and objectives. Alignment is small by design so that each project is attended to personally and intensely.
