2025 finished with the opening of 4 projects all during the month of November.

Alignment participated in the development of a new Miu Miu store at Highland Park Village. Working with the in-house design team, executive architect TPG and Michilli Construction the project was completed for a successful holiday opening.

Alignment also completed a third project for Bottega Veneta within Neiman Marcus in Chicago. This was also the third Bottega project for millworker Contract srl and the first for GC J. C. Anderson. Alignment worked previously with J. C. Anderson on Chicago project for Marc Jacobs.

Also completed for the holiday shopping season were two projects for the Tod's Group within Bloomingdale's in New York City. Both Tod's and Roger Vivier opened shops on the 5th floor women's shoe department.

Alignment participated in the development of of two stores that opened in June. One was for repeat client, Roger Vivier, who opened their second store within a year - this one in South Coast Plaza. The store was designed by Roger Vivier's in-house store planning team with support from Milan based Marco Stalla Studio. The store was built by Ferrante Koberling, millwork was provided by Lisar. Gruen Associates was the executive architect.

Roger Vivier is planning their next build at Bal Harbour Shops near Miami - planning is well under way - the store will open in April 2026.

The other June opening was for Rimowa who built a landmark store on Madison Avenue - doubling the size of their previous store that was in the same location. This was my first time working with Rimowa.

The design was selected through an invited competition and was awarded to Porto Architecture. Taurino Construction Management was selected to build the store, Bussola & Ralph provided the millwork.

Roger Vivier, the iconic women's shoe maker moved to a new Madison Avenue location with a new concept design by Studio Marco Stalla. The concept references old world interior architecture overlayed with modern material and lighting elements and pays homage to furniture design Paul Evans. I think this is one of the most striking new stores on Madison Avenue. A new store employing the same concept is currently under construction in Costa Mesa, CA and another is being planned for Bal Harbour Shops opening in 2026.

Roger Vivier will also open a series of shop-in-shops within three Palacio de Hierro locations and is being assisted by Alignment with those projects.

In February, Cle de Peau opened a new location within Bergdorf Goodman. It was a pleasure to work with the Shiseido team and the strong project team of consultants and contractors that they assembled to realize this project.

Work on a new Rimowa boutique on Madison Avenue featuring a unique concept started in 2024 and continues now. Please revisit this page in mid-summer for more about this fantastic project.

Alignment is proud to be working with Bottega Veneta on a series of shop-in-shops. Work on shops in Bellevue, WA and Arcadia, CA were recently completed. A project in Chicago is on the boards.

2024 also saw the completion of several projects for Marc Jacobs including locations in Las Vegas, Manhattan, Chicago and The Mills at Jersey Gardens.
